Color

If you have the option to use color, create a color palette and use it throughout the project. Generally, use a neutral color for large areas and stronger, brighter colors for emphasis. Avoid using garish or harsh colors, which can look amateurish and unprofessional. The color palette shown below is consistent with our visual style and is used in electronic communications.

These colors are used throughout ERCOT web applications and presentation templates, but they are not the only acceptable colors. Rather, they serve as a guideline to show the related family of colors used in ERCOT communications.
